Kevin Ding | President

Hi, I'm Kevin! I'm in my fourth year of my BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at the University of Alberta. I'm part of the amazing exec team at TAE, where we're passionate about making quality education affordable and accessible for everyone. Outside of school and club work, I enjoy hiking, tinkering with personal projects, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Guanghao Luo | VP Finance

Hi, my name is Guanghao and I’m in charge of VP-Finance at TAE! I’m in my third year of BSc in Biological Sciences at UofA. I’m from a small city called Brooks in Alberta (shout out to you if you where that is!) where I mostly grew up. Outside of academia I play quite a few sports including basketball, badminton, and volleyball. I also like going on hikes, playing video games, and exploring new cuisines from different cultures!

Sian McGarva | VP External

Hi, I’m Sian! I’m a fourth year BSc (Hons) Physics student at UofA and I’m excited to be your VP External for this year. I am super passionate about research and learning, as well as making physics and math accessible for everyone :). In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, painting, reading, and going on adventures with my friends.

Sara Iftikhar | VP Customer Relations

Hi! I’m Sara, and I am looking forward to being the VP of Customer Relations at TAE this year. I am in my second year at the University of Alberta, where I am studying a BSc (Hons) in Physiology. I enjoy creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable to learn. Some interesting facts about me are that I am a black belt in karate, I enjoy paddleboarding, and I love cats.

Sana Sandhu | VP Internal

Hi, I am Sana, and I serve as the VP Internal. I am a third-year Bsc (hons) in Psychology student at the University of Alberta. I am passionate about building strong connections within our community and creating spaces where every member feels supported and engaged. When I am not busy with classes or student life, you will probably find me exploring Edmonton’s café scene in search of the perfect latte and cozy study spots.

Laura Rib | VP Marketing and IT

Hello, my name is Laura! I'm excited to be in charge of VP Marketing and IT for TAE this year. I completed my B.Sc in Chemistry at UofA and am currently a dental student at UBC. I've been tutoring for over a year and I love to help students with their courses. In my free time I like to play piano, go for a jog or hike, or draw/paint.
