Kevin Ding | President

Hi, I'm Kevin! I'm in my fifth year of my BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at the University of Alberta. I'm part of the amazing exec team at TAE, where we're passionate about making quality education affordable and accessible for everyone. Outside of school and club work, I enjoy hiking, tinkering with personal projects, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Guanghao Luo | VP Finance

Hi, my name is Guanghao and I’m Co-President/VP-Finance at TAE this year! I’m in my fourth year of BSc in Biological Sciences at UofA. I’m from a small city called Brooks in Alberta (shout out to you if you know where that is!) where I mostly grew up. Outside of academia I play quite a few sports including basketball, badminton, and volleyball. I also like going on hikes, playing video games, and exploring new cuisines from different cultures!

Penny Lounsbury | VP Customer Relations

Hello, I’m Penny! I am in my second year as a BA Drama student. I am so excited to join TAE’s exec team this year, and aim to foster a kind and welcoming environment in my role as VP Customer Relations. When not at school, I enjoy swimming and hanging out with my five year old tabby cat.

Sara Iftikhar | VP External

Hi! I’m Sara, and I am looking forward to being the VP External at TAE this year. I am in my third-year at the University of Alberta, where I am studying a BSc (Hons) in Physiology. I enjoy creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable to learn. Some interesting facts about me are that I am a black belt in karate, I enjoy paddleboarding, and I love cats.

Sana Sandhu | VP Internal

Hi, I am Sana, and I serve as the VP Internal. I am a third-year Bsc (hons) in Psychology student at the University of Alberta. I am passionate about building strong connections within our community and creating spaces where every member feels supported and engaged. When I am not busy with classes or student life, you will probably find me exploring Edmonton’s café scene in search of the perfect latte and cozy study spots.

Afeefa Ahmad | VP Marketing/IT

Hi, I'm Afeefa! I'm in my fourth year of my BSc in Neuroscience at the UofA, and I’m excited to be VP Marketing and IT at TAE this year. I’m from the small city of Fort McMurray, north of Edmonton. Outside of academia, I enjoy tutoring in my spare time and making learning accessible to other students, playing badminton, hiking, and working on art projects.
