My name is Marlena, and I’m currently in the Bachelor of Education After-degree program at the University of Alberta, with previously completing a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. I’m passionate about supporting students as they explore their interests and figure out what path feels right for them after high school. Hello! My name is Guanghao, and I’m in my third year of Biological Sciences here at UofA. I’m originally from Brooks, Alberta, a small rural town about four hours away from Edmonton! At the university, I’m currently conducting research on protein trafficking in E. coli and the bacterial resistance mechanisms that contribute to antibiotic resistance.
